Travel Policy

1. Travel Documents
It is the traveller's sole responsibility to ensure all travel documents are valid:
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity beyond travel dates for international trips)
- Valid visa for all countries to be visited
- Inner Line Permits (ILP) for restricted areas like Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh
- Government-issued photo ID for domestic travel
- All required vaccination certificates where applicable
2. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability. WonderLight Adventure is not responsible for any losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.
3. Health & Medical
- Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking
- For high-altitude destinations (Ladakh, Kedarnath, Spiti), consult your doctor before travel
- Carry any personal medications in sufficient quantity
- Adventure activities may require a fitness certificate
- We reserve the right to refuse participation if a traveller's health poses a risk to themselves or others
4. Code of Conduct
All travellers are expected to:
- Respect local cultures, traditions, and religious practices
- Avoid littering โ follow Leave No Trace principles
- Follow the tour leader's instructions at all times
- Not engage in any illegal activities during the trip
- Behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, guides, and local communities
- Dress modestly when visiting religious sites
5. Itinerary Changes
WonderLight Adventure reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to provide suitable alternatives. No refunds will be given for changes beyond our control, though we will endeavour to minimise inconvenience.
6. Baggage Policy
- For group tours: maximum 15 kg check-in + 7 kg cabin baggage
- For adventure/trekking packages: soft bags recommended (no hard trolleys)
- WonderLight Adventure is not responsible for loss or damage to baggage
- Label all baggage clearly with your name and contact number
7. Photography & Media
Photography may be restricted at certain religious sites, military areas, and wildlife reserves. Always follow local guidelines. WonderLight Adventure may use trip photographs for promotional purposes unless you specifically opt out in writing.
8. Child Travel Policy
- Children under 5 years: complimentary (no separate seat/bed)
- Children 5โ11 years: child rates apply (60% of adult fare typically)
- Children 12 and above: adult rates apply
- Unaccompanied minors must have written consent from parents/guardians
